Yet another stage of Rock in Rio, one of the biggest music festivals in the world, finished in Lisbon this May. Within five days more than 330 thousand people visited this event. Ticket sales via official sources and social media, quotas distribution for ticket operators, all these procedures were organized using Radario platform.

“Cooperation with Rock in Rio festival is a logical follow-up of our expansion to Portuguese-speaking countries. Early in 2015 we opened our Lisbon office and festival Super Bock Super Rock became our first partner.
This year we are going to continue our way to Europe and Latin America, we will launch an office in Brazil. The contract with Rock in Rio festival helped us to invade this region.”
According to the Contract conditions, Radario platform managed e-ticket sales on the official website (“Tickets” tab) and on Facebook community (“International Online Tickets” tab). Moreover, worlds biggest ticket operators (Ticketmaster, Viagogo etc.) got the ticket information via Radario. In Russia Radario also worked as a distribution center between market players to sell tickets in rubles.

“Our company was the key international ticket partner, however the most tickets were purchased by clients from Spain, UK, Germany and France.
Despite huge audience there were no problems with entrance management, we almost had no queues. There was only little number of people queuing on the opening and closing nights, because these days attracted the most audience. We used regular scanners for barcode check.
When difficulties with tickets appeared (barcode was unclear, for example), our entrance check staff could easily contact Radario support team and get ticket status information immediately.
On the closing night organizers announced, that the next Rock in Rio will be held in Lisbon in 2018. In 2017 the festival will return to Brazil, and Radario is planning to continue the cooperation.”
